The school had dry rot, wood worm and rising damp.  

The client wanted to modernise the building and increase the floor space.  He wanted imaginative design at minimal costs.  
Rigorous cost control
resulted in 25%
savings (£25/sq ft.)

The roof structure was exposed and a new floor was inserted.  The roof and external walls were insulated.
